christmas shopping
today was a bad day, home now... christmas shopping is a bitch too many people, not enough time, too many places to go to... too many different prices aughh bought shit for mum, bought shit for dad, and bought shit for friends..... (oh and a little sumthink for me) nearly considered buy and Xbox and then a DVD player, but didnt... was thinking of getting some blank cd's, as i need to copy some of the recent cd's that my flatmates friend has got, as he is a dj, that gets me to do gigs too, i had a cool 21st gig, well kinda cool....it was karaoke, which although fun for drunk people, but when you are the dj and you have to sing first so that people will then come up and make fools of themselves is not in your best interest...but after my renditions of Things of Strone and Wood's "Happy Birthday Nicky" and Rick Sprinfield's "Clarky's Girl" (which weren't recieved to well, by the crowd) it seems that the idea of karaoke (or rather, better karaoke then mine) was the go, so it was a fun Kylie Minogue filled nite for all....... where was i, oh blanks cd's...oh and shopping...so yes from 10am til 1pm ish, i was caught in the mad rush and dash to by presents before the prices go up, and the friendly service goes down - so i finally have done it, christmas shopping..that was my first time, with my own money and my own choice of what to get people (with a little help from them telling me what they want [MUM!!!!]) so that wasnt too bad.....nice start to the day p.s. i spent $400
